Parents, we are off and running preparing for the Georgia Milestones (GMAS) and I need your support!! In preparation for GMAS, we need your scholar present weekly on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 3:45- 5:30 and Saturdays from 8:30- 11:30 am for our Accelerated STRONG Academy. During the academy, teachers will address challenging concepts that are weighted heavily on the GMAS from first semester, address current grade level deficits, and provide one-on-one instruction. Any scholar failing ELA/Math, or any 2 content areas are in danger of failing. Attending the Accelerated Academy will provide additional student data that will assist in making the final decision for promotion or retention. Therefore, we need these scholars present every week! Scholars currently on grade level (Proficient), will be provided support to move to the Distinguished Achievement Level. Please be sure your scholar is in attendance for Accelerated STRONG Academy. Transportation is provided. Thank you in advance for your support as we prepare our scholars to SHOW WHAT THEY KNOW on the Georgia Milestones!!!! Best regards, Dr. Rasheen G.
