We would like to give a special thank you to the following our Interim Principal, Mr. Martin, Program Coordinator, Ms. Moore, Program Dj, Coach Thomas, our volunteer parents, staff, teachers, Beta Club, and the baseball team. Atlanta, GA · March is a buzzzy month for us, and it kicks off with our Backyard Builders event! REMINDER: Wylde Center and Beecatur will be at our Edgewood Community Learning Garden on Saturday, March 2 for the 5th annual “Backyard Builders: Make a Home for Mason Bees!” program. Sessions start at 10:30 AM and 12 PM. This educational workshop will introduce kids to Mason Bees, one of metro Atlanta's most important early-Spring pollinators. Learn how to spot them, where they live, their unique life-cycle and how they are similar and different from other bees. We'll look at a variety of different homes that Mason bees can live in and then assemble and decorate a simple Mason Bee house that can be hung in your yard -- just in time to provide a home for these emerging bees!
