Below is the Preview Video: Community NewsRed line service provided through Marta, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, will be suspended from Friday, Feb. 17 at 9 p.m. until Wednesday, Feb. 22. Tracks will be replaced during this time. Marta service south of the Medical Center Station will also be suspended, and service to the airport will be reduced from Feb. 23-36. Free bus shuttles will run between the Medical Center, Buckhead, and Lenox Stations, and a $10 voucher for Lyft or Uber will be made available through MARTAConnect. Soldiers’ Angels provides an easy, no-cost way for Atlanta veterans in-need to receive food assistance. Volunteers pack bags of groceries and load them into cars, pushcarts, or backpacks of registered veterans. This monthly event provides food support to over 200 veterans and their families.
